Introduction

Why this topic matters for our generation

Definition

Environmental racism happens when some racial or ethnic groups are exposed to more environmental risks than others. This includes polluted air, unsafe drinking water, open sewage, toxic waste, and areas with high flood or landslide risk.

Why This Issue Is Important

Everyone should have clean air, clean water, and safe housing. In reality, many communities do not receive equal protection. This creates health problems, stress, and fewer opportunities in school and daily life.

Environmental racism is not just about nature. It is about human rights, dignity, and justice.

Project Objective

The goal of this project is to explain environmental racism in clear and simple language, present real examples from Brazil and the world, and encourage young people to participate in solutions.
